New Speak Life Campaign Launch Kickoff at True 2 You LLC

True 2 You LLC, a candle studio and fragrance blend bar in Canton, MI, is launching workshops about the different waysfragrances impact mood. Workshops would be brought into local high/middle schools, organizations, churches, and businesses in metro Detroit. All workshops will include information regarding mood-impacting fragrances, fragrance blending, and candle making.

The Kickoff event is open to those in Metro Detroit who are administrators or working in high/middle schools, colleges, organizations, churches, and businesses that may be interested in having a workshop, workshop series or fundraiser come to your facility.

In December of 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General declared loneliness had reached epidemic levels. Suggesting communities begin working to increase social connection; as disconnection is affecting our mental and physical societal health. True 2 You is assisting in the 6th Pillar of the Surgeon Generals Advisory, Cultivate a culture of connection.  Mood-impacting candles are becoming more popular to promote calmness using smell. Fragrance can encourage, calm, stress-reduced atmospheres at home, work, or school. Learning what fragrances help with these emotions and using them to blend their fragrance while surrounded by others can build connections socially.  The Speak Life Workshops also speak words of encouragement, hope, and positivity while creating the candle that reminds them of the importance of self-care.

So…..

This is a 90 minute class that includes fragrance blending with 12 fragrances to choose from, candle making, and candle tips. Candle vessels are 10 oz white or clear glass based of availability.  We blend with plant base wax blends for all candles.  Candles have to cure and will have to be picked up the next day or at a later date.  Bring a friend or make it a fun date and enjoy a new fun skill and you get to enjoy it later at home.
